Gorgeous, new OOAK (One of a Kind) Handmade RUNNING FREE HORSES Quilt. PERFECT FOR YOUR CABIN/FARM, LODGE, OR ANY HORSE LOVER/Gender Neutral. This quilt measures appx 62" x 86", which is perfect for a twin bed, couch throw, or a very generous sized lap quilt. this new quilt would ALSO be perfect gift for a CHILD'S/TEEN'S BED/wedding gift. The main blocks feature horses in gold, black, white and brown, running free in the snow. The surrounding blocks are comprised of 5 different pieces in dark brown, grey,black and white, and these blocks change position across the rows. The 24 blocks are 4 rows wide and 6 rows long. Then the inner border is the same brown, and the outer border repeats the main fabric. The binding is in gold. This quilt was machine made by us and professionally long arm quilted by Anita Blair at Cabin Creek Quilts in a stars and swirls pattern. See last picture where back is turned forward so you can see the beautiful quilting on the brown fabric. This item is handmade and has its own creative imperfections. The quilt is made of good quilt shop quality 100% cotton fabrics. The binding is doubled, with mitered corners, machine sewn for durability. The batting (inner layer) is Warm and Natural, a very good quality 80% cotton, 20% polyester blend, which will hold up to many washings. Zoom in on pictures to get a close up view of the quilt. Any HORSE LOVER would adore this. It will become a keepsake to pass down for you or the recipient for many years. The colors and patterns of the fabric give it a warm winter feel.
We've been making quilts for over 25 years and absolutely love it, and we're NOT just talking about the buying the fabric part either. We've made over 600 quilts of all sizes. We love picking the patterns and then matching the fabrics and colors to them, and can never wait to see how it is going to come out. Our quilts are just as beautiful and well made as quilts that sell for much more, and even more beautiful in person. We've kept our prices very reasonable, generally only enough to cover costs so that more people will know the joy of owning their own beautiful, keepsake quilt to hand down. So easy to take care of, just wash and dry as you would for any quality fabrics, cold or warm wash, line dry or machine dry on low for that soft puffy look. Don't use bleach, or hot water, but you can use Spray and Wash.
