This round stained glass suncatcher features the colors of the rainbow-the primary colors of red, yellow and blue arranged to appear as if they are overlapping to create the secondary colors of orange, green and purple. All the colored glass pieces are of wavy Waterglass texture which resembles gentle movement of water.
The center of this flower is a clear glass gem and the background is a clear lightly textured glass. This suncatcher measures just over 8 inches diameter, around 20 cm.
All of the glass pieces except for the gem have been hand cut and assembled using copper foil and solder. The suncatcher has then been wrapped with lead came, a type of lead framing for strength and stability. A single loop has been soldered to the back with a small amount of chain included for hanging.
