Fused glass sailboat on the water with a glowing sun was the starting point of this design. Its actually the first fused glass piece I created. Its been waiting patiently for me to create more parts to go with it. Orange square cast beads and one large round cobalt blue ring were added and finally the idea of casting an anchor out of glass came to me.
All the individual pieces have been attached together using tinned wire and silver plated jump rings. Overall measurements are 22 inches long by 7 1/2 inches wide. 56 cm long by 19 cm wide. The anchor alone measures 3 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide, 9 cm.
Lovely hanging in a window, from a porch beam and even against a wall, very versatile.
