Inspired by the magnificent big cat, this fused glass platter features stripes in chestnut brown on black with just a hint of ivory. Three layers thick, its quite heavy and sturdy. Multiple controlled firings in a glass kiln were needed to achieve the details and effects.
Measures 10 1/2 inches diameter, just under 27 cm. The platter or shallow bowl weighs over 2 pounds by itself, 5 pounds packaged.
Food safe, hand wash recommended.
